Mrs. Pocahontas Bryant McClees, 93, of 897 Goat Neck Road, Columbia, died Monday, July 23, 2007, at Britthaven Nursing Home, Edenton.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Alligator Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in Community Cemetery, Columbia.
Mrs. McClees was born in Tyrrell County on Nov. 16, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Josephine and Benjamin F. Bryant. She had been employed as a domestic.
Survivors include one son, Thomas McClees of New Jersey; five daughters, Alethia Brickhouse of Columbia, and Joyce Perry, Hester Tull, Alrethia McClees and Nannette McClees, all of Maryland; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildern and three great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Rowsom Funeral Home, Columbia.
