Mrs. Phyllis Ann Lee, 59, of 313 Golf Road, Plymouth, died Monday, July 30, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A celebration of Mrs. Lee’s life will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Smith and Austin Funeral Home, Plymouth, with the Rev. Steve Formo officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lee was the daughter of the late Margaret Simmons Styons and Russell Roper Swain. She was married to Douglas Shelton Lee, who survives.
Survivors include one daughter, Ginger Pruitt Hendrix of Creswell; one stepdaughter, Shelly Lee Williams of Benson; one stepson, Michael Douglas Lee of Plymouth; two sisters, Ruby Inez Swain and Kathy Swain Lane, both of Edenton; two brothers, Dennis Earl Swain of Windsor, and Hal Mitchell Swain of Edenton; and three stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Dempsey Swain.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Smith and Austin Funeral Home, Plymouth, and other times at the home.
