Mr. Sandy Augusta McDonald, 49, of 14128 Grand Pre Road, Silver Spring, Md., and formerly of Beaufort County, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday in Phenel Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Blounts Creek, with minister Gregory McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Blounts Creek.
Mr. McDonald was born in Beaufort County on July 17, 1958. He was the son of the late Rosa Lee Hooker Adams and John McDonald. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Layhill Road, Silver Spring, Md.
Survivors include two sons, Sonontoni McDonald and Antron McDonald, both of Aurora; three sisters, Rose Moore of Washington, Rosetta Ford of Damascus, Md., and Tawanda Minns of Greenville; five brothers, John McDonald of Windsor, Willie McDonald of Baltimore, Md., Veryon Moore of Germany, Frankie McDonald of Ohio, and Gregory McDonald of Greenville; godfather, Calvin Mohoney and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Rose Moore, 615 Plant St., Washington.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
