Mrs. Mahaly Bryant Carter, 96, of 1084 U.S. Highway 64 East, Plymouth, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at Plumblee Nursing Center, Plymouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Edenton Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Chapel Missionary Baptist Church cemetery in Columbia.
Mrs. Carter was born in Tyrrell County on Oct. 16, 1910. She was the daughter of the late Louise N. Bryant and Henry Bryant Sr. She had been employed as a factory worker.
Survivors include one brother, Henry Bryant Jr.; two grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
