Ms. Mary Pauline Garrett Norman, 58, of 233 Jacks St., Mimosa Trailer Park, Washington, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cuthrell Cemetery, White Hill community, Aurora.
Ms. Norman was born in Beaufort County on Sept. 7, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Luther Vincent Garrett and Evelyn Mae Cox Garrett. She was married to John Darrell Norman Sr. of Maury, who survives. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, John Darrell Norman Jr. of the home, and Franklin Delano Purdy of Georgia; one daughter, Tina Marie Purdy of Georgia; one sister, Peggy Bledsoe of Eden; one brother, Milton Thomas Garrett of Edenton and one grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mary Pauline Garrett Norman Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1465, Washington, NC 27889.
