Mr. Raymond Richard Reece, age 61, a resident of 123 Cedar Circle, Washington, N.C. died Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at the Beaufort County Hospital.
A wake service will be held 5 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2007, at Paul Funeral Home of Washington officiated by Father Donald Baribeau.
Mr. Reece was born in Hamilton County, Ohio, on December 21, 1945, son of the late C. M. Reece and the late Ruth Walker Reece. He was a graduate of St. Bernard High School in Cincinnati, OH. Locally Mr. Reece worked as a service technician with Flanders Filters until his battle with cancer forced his retirement.
Mr. Reece is survived by his life companion: Tony Lotta of the home; a sister: Janice Campbell of Henderson, N.C.; five brothers: J.C. Reece of Phoenix, AZ, Terry Reece of Cincinnati, OH, Rick Reece of Seattle, WA, Greg Reece of Washington, N.C. and John Reece of Chicago, IL and seven loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2007 before the wake service at Paul Funeral Home of Washington.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to Lights of Love Oncology Fund, 628 East 12th Street, Washington, NC 27889.
