Mr. Rayvon Smith, 52, of 173 Allers Blvd., Roosevelt, N.Y., and formerly of Chocowinity, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, in New York.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Beach Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Elder Melvin Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery No. 2, Chocowinity.
Mr. Smith was born in Beaufort County on April 12, 1955. He was the son of Beulah M. Smith and the late Johnny Smith. He attended the Beaufort County Schools.
Survivors include one sister, Velma S. Hardy of Greenville.
A walk-in visitation will be held Sunday from 3:30-8:30 p.m. at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 26 Clubway Apts., Greenville.
