Mr. Bobby York Mobley, age 72, a former resident of 806 River Road, Washington died Saturday September 1, 2007 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday September 4, 2007 at the Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. The following will serve as pallbearers: Ted Jozwiak, Jerry Fucito, Dayne Winstead, Jonas Fucito, York Winstead and Logan Winstead.
Mr. Mobley was born in Williamston on November 24, 1934. He was a 1953 graduate of Pantego High School and for many years, Mr. Mobley worked in the automotive industry as a salesman at Lee Chevrolet. On June 12, 1954 he married Wanda Agnes Jozwiak Mobley who survives. He attended the Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Washington and was an active member of the Jaycees and the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving along with his wife are two daughters: Wanda Mobley Lockhart of Atlantic Beach, Debbi Mobley Fucito and her husband Jerry of Washington; and six grandchildren; Marissa Fucito, Dayne Winstead, Jonas Fucito, York Winstead, Chelsey Fucito, Logan Winstead; and three aunts.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., beginning with a Rosary Service, on Monday September 3, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and at other times at the home, located at 806 River Road Washington, NC.
