Mrs. Annie Louise Davis Manning, 79, of Williamston, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at the Vintage Inn.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. David Anderson and Jim Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Tice Cemetery.
Mrs. Manning was employed with the N.C. Cooperative Inspection Service, retiring with 30 years of service. On Jan. 1, 1949, she married Ervin Manning, who preceded her in death Nov. 17, 2002. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Manning of Apex, and Jeff Manning of Wilmington; one brother, Leon Davis of Buies Creek; one sister, Mary Gardner Landers of Cary and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church and other times at the home, 2429 Piney Grove Church Road.
