Mrs. Sherry Pratt Powell, 43, of 210 Sheeps Landing Road, Merry Hill, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at her home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Riverside Baptist Church, with the Revs. Al Jarrell and William Leary officiating. Burial will follow in the Holder family cemetery., Sheeps Landing Road.
Mrs. Powell was born March 11, 1064, in Chowan County. She was the daughter of Terry Pratt and Caroline McClenny Pratt, who survive. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was a member of River Rats Country Club.
Survivors include her husband Ray Powell of Merry Hill; two sons, William Raymond Powell and Jonathan Christian Powell, both of Merry Hill; a daughter, Alyssa Caroline Powell of Merry Hill; two brothers, Michael George Pratt and David Arron Pratt, both of Merry Hill.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Pratt.
The family will receive friends at the home of her parents, 1435 N.C. Highway 45 North, Merry Hill.
