Mr. William Albert “W.A.” Rogerson, 71, of 1621 W. Main St., Williamston, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with Dolan Baker and Greg Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Rogerson was born in Martin County on Nov. 10, 1935. He was the son of the late Haywood and Sadie Bullock Rogerson. He worked in maintenance at Biggs Funeral Home until his retirement. He was a member of Macedonia Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Brian Rogerson of Williamston; three sisters, Agnes R. Wynne of Williamston, Ruth R. Brown of Jamesville, and Faye Kirkman of Columbia; and one brother, Jerry Rogerson of Bear Grass.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home of his brother, 5393 Bear Grass Road, Williamston.
