Mrs. Mary Louise Bright Alligood, 39, formerly of Washington and Winterville, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at Greenfield Place Nursing Home of Greenville.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Alligood was born in Beaufort County on June 15, 1968. She was the daughter of Gracie Banks Bright and the late James Anson Bright Sr. She attended the Washington City Schools. Before her disability, she was self employed in the house cleaning business in Nags Head.
Survivors include three sons, Christopher Bright of Washington, Derrik Bright of Pamlico County, and Timothy Cieslik of Buffalo, N.Y.; two sisters, Brenda Daughton and Shirley Bright, both of Washington; two brothers, James Bright Jr. of Missouri, and Jimmy Bright of Bath and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, 2137 Wharton Station Road, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in honor of Sierra Daughton to the Leukemia &Lymphoma Society, Eastern N.C. Chapter, 4330 Bland Road, Flagship Building, Raleigh, NC 26609.
