Mr. James Edward Moore, 84, of 1334 Cedar Landing Road, Windsor, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at Martin General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Biggs Funeral Chapel with pastor Jim Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Moore was born Oct. 27, 1992 in Martin County. He was the son of the late Perlie Moore and late Sobelia Adeline Williams. He married Annie Ruth Speller Moore, who survives, July 12, 1945. He was retired from the N.C. Department of Transportation as a maintenance supervisor and a member of the Siloam Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Pam Davis of Windsor, Carolyn White of Monroe and Brenda Mills of Williamston; two brothers, Earl Moore and Ben Moore both of Williamston; and two sisters, Ruth Leggett of Williamston and Pattie Strawbridge of Louisburg.
The family will receive relatives and friends today at Biggs Funeral home from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and other times at the home.
