Mrs. Lucy Virginia B. Barrow, 80, of 3174 N. Gum Neck Road, Columbia, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Piney Grove Disciple Church with pastor Lorenza Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Barrow was born in Tyrrell County on June 14, 1927. She was the daughter of the late George W. Browed and Gussie Patrick Brown. She was a widow.
Survivors include three sons, Calvin Barrow Jr. of Raleigh, Steven Barrow of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., and Ricky Barrow of Columbia; four daughters, Patrick Dian Dunbar and Mayola Midgett, both of Raleigh, Vinessa Fuller of Roper, and Iris Lewis of Durham; three brothers, George W. Brown and Charlie Brown, both of Virginia, and Robert Brown of New Jersey; two sisters, Bessie Mizell of Pittsboro and Christina Brown of Virginia; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
