Mrs. Gretcha Woolard Dixon, age 68, a resident of 40 Braddy Road, Washington, died Thursday September 20, 2007 at Beaufort County Hospital.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Dixon was born June 15, 1939, daughter of the late Elmer Huron Woolard and Julia Elizabeth Sullivan Woolard. On October 18, 1958, she married Norwood E. Dixon who survives. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, Norwood of the home, she is survived by her children: Norwood E. Dixon, Jr., Christopher Gerome Dixon and Lesleigh Dixon Manning; her grandchildren: Julia Lacey Dixon, Norwood Eugene Dixon, III, Caroline Elizabeth Manning, Emily Chris Manning and Charles Hodges Manning, IV and her brothers and sisters: Isabelle Woolard Queijo, Mable Woolard Alligood, Julia Hollis Woolard and Jasper Evan Woolard.
