Mrs. Sarah Barber Price, 72, of 2420 Barber Road, Jamesville, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. at Lighthouse Assembly of God with Johnny Barber officiating. Burial will follow in Jamesville Cemetery.
Mrs. Price was born Dec. 18, 1934, in Martin County, the daughter of the late Georgie B. Barber and the late Daisy Jackson. In 1951 she married John D. Price, who preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1995. She was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God.
Survivors include two sons, Bennie N. Price and John D. Price, both of Jamesville; two daughters, Wanda Price Grimes and Amy Price Whitley, both of Jamesville; two brothers, Ervin Barber and Johnny Barber, both of Jamesville; five sisters, Della B. Leggett, Mattie B. Whitaker and Martha B. Williams, all of Jamesville, Mary Ann B. Whitaker of Standish, Calif. and Linda Kay B. Brett of Windsor; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors today from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Lighthouse Assembly of God and other times at the home.
