Mr. James Douglas Ray of 3721 Gideon Drive, Wake Forest, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Christ Holiness Church, 5014 Hartsfield Drive, Wake Forest, with Bishop Harvey Deuberry officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery, Wendell.
Mr. Ray was born Oct. 15, 1967, the son of Walter D. and George Anna Cox Ray.
Survivors include two sisters, Rebecca Whitaker of Raleigh, and Jackie Swinson of Wake Forest and two brothers, Walter D. Ray Jr. and Jack Ray, both of Raleigh.
The body will be placed in the church Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington.
