Mr. Juan Martinez Apolinar, age 32, a resident of 3405 Wookstock Street, Portsmouth, VA died on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Norfolk General Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at the Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, 112 West 9th Street, Washington, NC 27889.
Mr. Apolinar was born in Mexico City on June 26, 1975, to Santos Acosta Garcia and the late Rutilia Martinez Apolinar. Mr. Apolinar worked as a roofer for many years in Norfolk, VA.
In addition to his father, survivors include: one brother: Jose Acosta Martinez of Norfolk, two sisters: Rosalina Acosta Martinez and Magdalena Acosta Martinez both of Mexico, an uncle: Gonzalo Perez Roldan of Mexico, and four cousins: Rodolfo, Jacinto, Mary Paz and Sarita Perez Acosta all from Washington. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one aunt; Ambrosia Acosta Gonzales.
The Apolinar family will receive friends at the home of his cousin Mary Paz Perez Acosta located at 105 Hickory Drive, Washington, NC 27889 after the memorial service.
