Mrs. Amie Swain Liverman, 93, of 101 California Road, Columbia, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. James H. Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Liverman was born in Tyrrell County on Feb. 14, 1914. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Zenner M. Swain. She was a widow.
Survivors include two sons, Haze Liverman of Norfolk, Va., and Howard Liverman of Durham; four daughters, Catherine Hill and Judy Marner, both of Columbia, Macie Hill of Durham and Grenda Basnight of Pittsboro; 20 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Rowsom Funeral Home, Columbia.
