Mr. Asa Franklin Respass of 163 Greenbriar Drive, Liberty, S.C., died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service was held Oct. 9, 2007, in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home, Pickens, S.C., with the Rev. Jim Correll officiating.
Mr. Respass was born in Pinetown, the son of the late William Armstead and Ella Lee Wallace Respass. He retired from the Navy after 22 years, having served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the Central, South Carolina American Legion.
Survivors include three sons, Scott Robert Respass of Greenville, S.C., William Asa Respass of Easley, S.C., and Troy Lane Respass of Dacusville, S.C.; one sister, Linda Jackson of the Outer Banks; and seven grandchildren.
