Mr. Marshall Sherman Calvert, 75, of 1524 S. King St., Windsor, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor with the Rev. Jim Cox officiating.
Mr. Calvert was born in Blytheville, Ark., on Feb. 18, 1932. He was the son of the late Sherman Martin and Hattie Bowers Calvert. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was married to Lois “Faye” Calvert, who survives. He was a self employed truck driver. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa of Murfreesboro; and two sisters, Gladys Johnson of Old Sparta and Ruby Jean Coggins of Texas.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
