Mr. Dave A. Jacoby, age 56, a resident of Washington died Sunday, October 14, 2007 in Sanford, NC.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington officiated by Richard Bentley and Lennie Regan. In keeping with Mr. Dave’s wishes cremation will take place after the service.
Mr. Dave was born in Lakewood, OH on September 24, 1951 son of the late William Paul Jacoby and Mary Kominek Jacoby who survives. He was a graduate of York High School in Elmhurst, IL who continued his education at Colorado School of Mines where he earned his degree in Mining Engineering. Mr. Dave married the former Kaye Lynn Fischbach on September 5, 1981 who survives. He has worked for thirty-two years with PCS Phosphate Company at their Aurora plant and Saltville, VA plant. He was currently a Senior Project Engineer at their Aurora plant where he was a vital asset to operations in many areas of the plant. Dave was a member of the Church of Christ on Slatestone Road.
Surviving along with his wife Kaye of the home and his mother Mary of Sanford are a brother: William Jacoby of St. Pete Beach, FL; a sister: Pat Levine of Buffalo Grove, IL, a brother: Jeff Jacoby of Phoenix, AZ; a mother-in-law: Alma Shepherd Fischbach of Baltimore; a brother-in-law: Bruce Howard Fischbach of Baltimore; and nieces and nephews: Becky and Tom Ames, Will Jacoby, Jr. and Meghan and Chris Leezer all of Louisville, KY; Stephanie and Scott Levine of Buffalo Grove, IL and Shannon and Jason Jacoby of Phoenix, AZ.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington.
