Ms. Laura Bell Woods, 70, of 7845 N.C. Highway 94, Fairfield, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Old Richmond Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Community Cemetery, Fairfield.
Ms. Woods was born in Hyde County on March 19, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Myrtle L. Burrus and Charlie Woods. She had been employed as a housekeeper.
Survivors include two sons, Roy T. Woods of New York and Michael Woods of Raleigh; three sisters, Viola Woods of New York, and Carolyn McNeal and Myrtle Barrow, both of Fairfield; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
