FARMVILLE — Mrs. Sandra S. Whaley, 61 passed away on the evening of Saturday, October 13, 2007, following a short battle with brain cancer.
A memorial service will be held at New Destiny Pentecostal Holiness Church in Greenville, on Friday October 19 at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Whaley was born in Terra Haute, IN on August 7, 1946 to the late Margorie Siddens of Macon, IL. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to cook. She was a member of New Destiny Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by: former husband, Hubert L. Whaley of Williamston, a Daughter, Lee Ann Gonzalez of the home, a son, Eric Whaley of Stokes, a daughter-in-law, Angelia Whaley of Williamston, 5 grandchildren, Julia and Sierra Gonzalez, Michael and Brittany Whaley, Tony Lee Martinez, and a lifelong friend Mary Ellen Green of Channelview, TX.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the home.
