Mrs. Pentrowlia “Pat” Tripp, 97, of Morehead City, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, at Harborview Health Care Center in Morehead City.
A funeral will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in Soundview Original Free Will Baptist Church, Newport, with the Rev. Grady Simpson officiating. A graveside service will be conducted today at 3 p.m. in Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Washington.
Mrs. Tripp was married to Joseph Edward Tripp Sr., who preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Gladys Bailey of Newport; one foster daughter, Marion Hall of Washington; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Edward Tripp Jr.; one daughter, Nancy Tripp Salmon and one grandson, Thomas Edward Bailey.
