Mrs. Mary Revels Roberson, 86, of 1871 Meadow Branch Road, Williamston, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at Martin General Hospital in Williamston.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Macedonia Christian Church with Greg Sexton and Dolan Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Roberson Cemetery on Meadow Branch Road.
Mrs. Roberson was born Aug. 16, 1921, in Martin County, daughter of the late William Staton and Mary Ella Peele Revels. She was married on Dec. 30, 1939, to Elbert J. Roberson, who died July 7, 1999. Mrs. Roberson was a homemaker. She was a member of Macedonia Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Riley Roberson and Stan Roberson, both of Williamston; two daughters, Mary Lou Taylor and Jennie Rawls, both of Williamston; one sister, Melba Lilley of Williamston; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Macedonia Christian Church and other times at the home.
