Autopsy may offer clues to her death

A body found Wednesday morning by the Washington City Police has been identified as that of Darlene Renee Hudson, 38, according to the Washington Police Department.
Lt. William Chrismon, public information officer for the department, said an autopsy will be performed to assist in the investigation. Hudson lived in the 500 block of Van Norden Street.
Hudson’s body was found at 6 a.m. Wednesday by the Washington City Police in a home at 213 W. Seventh St., Washington.
As of Thursday afternoon, her death is still under investigation.
Chrismon said no further information will be available for release on Thursday.
Unattended death – when a person dies alone – is investigated to determine the cause of death, including homicide, suicide or accidental. The State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the city police.
