Mrs. Josephine Hall Hedspeth of 406 E. Simmons Avenue, Williamston, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Martin General Hospital, Williamston.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Memorial Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robbie Parker and the Rev. Chris Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Conway Cemetery in Conway at 2:30 p.m.
Mrs. Hedspeth was born on Nov. 3, 1919, in Bertie County to the late William E. Hall and Mildred H. Hall. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, and was a sales associate with the House of Fashion. She was married to J.P. Hedspeth, who preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 1980.
Survivors include one son, Bob Hedspeth, and one daughter, Betsy H. Furr, both of Williamston; one brother, Wilbur Hall of Houston, Texas; three granddaughters and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin Hall.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at Walker Funeral Home in Williamston and other times at the home.
