FRANKLIN, Pauline Hardison, age 91, of The Virginian in Chesterfield, Va., died October 25, 2007 at the The Windsor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Hardison and Willie Whitaker Hardison of Washington, N.C., her husband, Leonard Franklin and her daughter, Dara Clark of Midlothian, Va. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lona and Glen Trebour; grandsons and their wives, Jim and Kelly Trebour, Ryan and Beth Trebour and Ted and Julia Trebour, all of Midlothian, Va.; granddaughter and her husband, Lori and Craig Thoden of Aldie, Va.; granddaughter, Jamie Clark of San Francisco, Calif.; grandson, John Clark of Raleigh, N.C.; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. After retiring to Vero Beach, Fla. from an appliance wholesale company in New York City, Mrs. Franklin volunteered with the Indian River Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, giving, for the benefit of the hospital, greater than 23,000 hours of service over a period of 20 years. There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life on Saturday, November 3 at 12 p.m. at Bliley’s-Chippenham, 6900 Hull St. Rd., Richmond, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure or a charity of your choice.
