Mrs. Maude Harris Deshields, 81, of Chesapeake, Va., died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Riverside Convalescent Center, Smithfield, Va.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Albert G. Horton Memorial Veteran Cemetery, Suffolk, Va., with the Rev. Jarvis Hearn officiating.
Mrs. Deshields was born in Pantego and had lived in Chesapeake, Va., for the past 58 years. She was married to Rodney Kenneth Deshields, who preceded her in death. She owned and operated Tidewater Insurers in Chesapeake, Va., with her husband for 35 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Yolanda Williamson, of Suffolk, Va.
