Edgar Bowen “Bo” Woodley, age 56, of Florence, AL, died Saturday, November 3, 2007.
Visitation was Monday, November 5, 2007 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia, AL. Graveside services will be Thursday, November 8, 2007, 11 a.m. at St. David’s Episcopal Cemetery in Creswell, North Carolina.
Mr. Woodley was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Florence, AL. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of BPOE #820.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Rubye Woodley; paternal grandparents, Edgar and Alice Woodley; maternal grandparents, James and Pearl Bowen.
He is survived by his sister, Lyn W. Wilson and husband Ralph of Florence, AL; niece, Carol A. Lockette and husband Dr. Jason Lockette of Florence, AL; nephew, Preston Wilson and wife Julie of Florence, AL; great nieces, Sara Wilson and Olivia Lockette; great nephews, Sam Wilson and Owen Lockette; aunts and uncle, Virginia and Hugh Chapman of Norfolk, Va., Viva Woodley of Virginia Beach, Va., and Lois Woodley of Decatur, Georgia and a number of cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Keller Hospice or The Helen Keller Hospital Foundation. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Lynn Ridgeway, Dr. Stanley Clark and the staff of Keller Hospice for their compassionate care during Bo’s illness.
