Blanche McGowan Tetterton Little, age 83, a resident of 227 Waterford Place, Washington, passed away with grace and dignity on Tuesday, November 6, 2007. Blanche was a retired Registered Nurse of 40 years. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and caregiver.
Blanche is survived by her four children, Judy Harris of Roper, Buster Tetterton of Pinetown, Louise Boyd-Barnes of Knoxville, TN, and Bobby Tetterton of Washington; seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and two sisters, Stella Equils of Bath and Beulah Scott of Ormond Beach, Fla.
A private service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the caring professionals of Community Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Methuselah Fund of The First Presbyterian Church, 211 W. 2nd Street, Washington, N.C. 27889, to be used to enhance the care of the elderly in long term care.
