Mrs. Elizabeth Sawyer Roebuck, 77, of Plymouth, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Plymouth Church of God with the Rev. Dr. Harvey Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in Windley Cemetery.
Mrs. Roebuck was born in Washington County on Feb. 10, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Isaac T. and Sarah Overton Sawyer. She was married to Lafate Roebuck Jr., who survives. She was a retired nurse’s assistant. She was a member of Plymouth Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet R. Stancil of Williamston and Joyce R. Whitley of Pikeville, Tenn.; two sons, Jerry L. Roebuck of Jamesville and Gary T. Roebuck of Plymouth; one sister, Audrey Everett of Plymouth; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Lather and one brother, Isaac T. Sawyer Jr.
Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
