Mr. Dillon Augustus Wynne, 83, of 210 Sunset Drive, Williamston, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A graveside service will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery with Russell Mann officiating.
Mr. Wynne was born in Martin County on March 23, 1924. He was the son of the late Pete and Lillie Clark Wynne. In 1959, he married the former Mattie Willoughby, who preceded him in death in 1996. He was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ.
Survivors include one sister, Evelyn Nicholson of Williamston and one brother, Rufus Wynne of Williamston.
The family will receive friends today from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
