Mr. Renaldo “Jamel” Sneed of Oxen Hill, Md., and formerly of 312 W. Sixth St., Washington, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Cornerstone Family Worship Center with Elder Jerome Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Sneed was born Nov. 3, 1978, the son of Carolyn Sneed and Bertis Newkirk. He graduated from the Beaufort County schools. He served in the Marine Corps where he worked as an administrative clerk. While in the Marine Corps, he received the Good Conduct Medal. He was employed as a contractor for the Pentagon. He was affiliated with Mt. Hebron Church of Christ.
Survivors include three brothers, Broderick D. Sneed of Charlotte, Travis Rouse of Durham and Tyrone Woolard of Greensboro; three sisters, Rhonda M. Brown and Keishia Brown, both of New York, and Andria Perry of Durham and grandmother, Lily Sneed of Washington.
A walk-in viewing will be held today from 1-6 p.m. at Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington.
