Mr. Charles Frederick Leck, 79, of 422 W. Main St., Apt. B, Williamston, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at Martin General Hospital, Williamston.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Leck was born in Ridgewood, N.J., on Dec. 3, 1927. He was the son of the late Charles Frederick Young and Katheryn Elmondorf Young. He served in the Navy. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the senior center.
Survivors include seven daughters, Katherine Leck and Deborah Leck, both of Massachusetts, Elizabeth Farley, Patricia Leck and Jennifer Schafer, all of Vermont, Karen Leck of Williamston, and Cynthia McCauley of New York; four sons, Peter Leck of Vermont and Charles Leck Jr., Richard Leck and Philip Leck, all of Florida; one sister, Katie Danco of Ohio; one stepbrother, Richard Leck of Oregon; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Leck.
Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home of Williamston.
