Mr. Stanley “Chip” Moore Jr., 45, of Queens, N.Y., died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at Mary Immaculate Hospital, Jamaica, N.Y.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Paul AME Zion Church, Aurora, with the Rev. Laticia Godette officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitehurst Creek Cemetery, Aurora.
Mr. Moore was the son of Carrie Adams Moore of Spring Lake. He was a veteran of the armed forces.
Survivors include one sister, Dana Tate of Maryland.
The family will receive friends Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. at St. Paul AME Zion Church, Aurora, and other times at the home of his aunt, Glenoria Jennette, Aurora.
Arrangements are by Rountree Family Mortuary and Cremation Service, Greenville.
