Mr. James Michael Swinton of 2434 Ridgely St., Baltimore, Md., died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Beebe Memorial CME Church, Washington, with the Rev. Edward Moultrie Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Washington.
Mr. Swinton was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Jan. 22, 1960. He was the son of Joseph Swinton of South Carolina and Evelena Swinton Adams of Washington. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was married to Josephine Swinton, who survives. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include four daughters, Yolanda Bynum and Dee Dee Bynum, both of Baltimore, Md., Jessica Swinton and Vanessa Swinton, both of the home; one brother, Anthony Swinton of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Tiffany Swinton of South Carolina and two grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
