Mrs. Ruby Lee Gurkins Phillips, 77, of Delco, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Delco Community Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Kennedy officiating.
Mrs. Phillips was born in Beaufort County on Nov. 14, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Oliver “Plum” and Mary Foreman Gurkin. She was married to Thomas Phillips, who survives. She was a long time member of Delco PFWB Church.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Lee Phillips and David Thomas Phillips; one daughter, Kathelen Marie Phillips Ganey; one brother, Dalton Gurkin; one sister, Edna Smith; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday following the graveside service in the reception hall of Delco PFWB Church.
Arrangements are by Coble Ward-Smith Funeral and Cremation Service, Oleander Chapel.
