Ms. Margaret Earle Jones, 74, of 709 W. Eighth St., Washington, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Temple of Jesus Christ United Church with Bishop James Woolard officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Jones was born in Beaufort County on June 7, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Julius and Lilor Davis Jones. She attended the Beaufort County Schools. She was a member of the Temple of Jesus Christ United Church, where she served on the missionary board.
Survivors include four sons, Samuel Jones of Washington and Clearance Jones, Jamel Jones and Eric Jones, all of New York; three sisters, Joyce Moseley of Chocowinity, Carolyn Jones of Greenville and Ollie Spring of New York; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington, and other times at the home.
