Ms. Florence Brown, 48, of 108 N. Daly Court, Plymouth, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Spring Green Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with the Rev. Stanley Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Toodle’s Cemetery.
Ms. Brown was born in Washington County on Jan. 1, 1959. She was the daughter of the late Ollie and Sarah Lilley Brown. She was employed as a cook with McDonald’s of Plymouth. She was a member of Spring Green Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ).
Survivors include two sons, Damone Brown of Greensboro and Tony Brown of Plymouth; two daughters, Javoner Brown and Ramonica Downing, both of Plymouth; three brothers, Frankie Brown of Baltimore, Md., William Brown of Danville, Va., and Kelvin Brown of Plymouth; four sisters, Joyce Taylor and Claudia Council, both of Plymouth, Sarah Brown of Greenville and Gloria Tyree of Woodbridge, Va.; and 12 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at Spring Green Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) and other times at the home.
Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
