Mr. Arlester Jones, 59, of 592 Mile Road, Vanceboro, died Dec. 27, 2007 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at St. Peter Freewill Baptist Church in Vanceboro with the Rev. Thomas Singleton officiating. Burial will be in the Jones family cemetery in Vanceboro.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Davis Jones; five daughters, Pamela L. Memborn and Latisha A. Dawson, both of New Bern; Amber Jones of Virginia, Precious M. Jones and Leslie A. Jones of Vanceboro; two sons, Timothy T. Jones of Oriental and Lathan Jones of Washington; four sisters, Annie L. Freeman of Cove City, Mary B. Freeman, Joyce M. Jones and Helen J. Barfield, all of Vanceboro; two brothers, Andrew Jones Jr. of Cove City and James A. Jones of Vanceboro and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
Tri-County Funeral Service of Ayden is in charge of arrangements.
