Marlin Ward

Mr. Marlin DeVaughn Ward, 32, of Greenville, died Dec. 26, 2007 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday at the Temple of Jesus Christ United Church, with Bishop James Woolard officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Ward was born in Beaufort County on April 25, 1975. He was the son of Leavonn Ward Cooper and Henry Hardy. He was a 1993 graduate of Washington High School and graduated from St. Augustine’s College in Raleigh with a bachelor’s degree in human performance. He was vice president of operations for Enrichment Living, LLC.
He is survived by his mother, Leavonn Ward Cooper of Greenville, and father in kind, Earl C. O’Neal; two brothers, Henry Wayne Hardy of Chocowinity and Darrin Austin of Washington; three sisters, Brenda Blackledge of Washington, and Natalie O’Neal and Marcia Greene of Greenville and a grandmother, Eldress Verda Branch Gibbs of Washington.
The family will receive friends at the home of Cornell and Renee Harvey, 814 Grimes Road, Washington and also at the home of Henry and Rebecca Waters, 5718 River Creek Drive (River Creek Estates), Washington.
Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington is in charge of arrangements.
