Mrs. Janet T Forehand, 71, formerly of Williamston, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 in Rock Hill, S.C.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Advent with the Rev. Jim Horton officiating.
Mrs. Forehand was born July 17, 1936 in Bertie County, daughter of the late Chesson Thomas and the late Erline Kent Thomas. She was married to Julius W. Forehand, who preceded her in death. She attended East Carolina Teachers University. She was a retired church secretary at First Christian Church. She was a member of the Church of the Advent and the Roanoke Arts Guild.
Survivors include three duaghters, Susan Pippin of Williamston, Jan Wickline of Middletown, Md. and Julie Della-Mea of Rock Hill, S.C.; one sister, Vernelle Thomas Henderson of Manteo and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Williamston and other times at the home of Stacey and Susan Pippin, 1446 McCasey Road.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Advent, 124 West Church Street, Williamston, NC 27892.
