Mr. Noah Thomas Lee, 75, formerly of Goose Creek Road, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at Britthaven of Washington.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Piney Grove Cemetery, Washington, with Tony Krantz officiating.
Wayne Cox, Donald Cutler, Horace “Pete” Lee Jr., James Woolard, Eddie Cherry and William Woolard will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be John Mullis, Dal Latham, Eddie Hedgepeth and Doug Dixon.
Mr. Lee was born in Beaufort County on Jan. 24, 1932. He was the son of the late James Robert Lee and Maggie Sullivan Lee. He served in the Navy. On June 20, 1971, he married the former Maggie Cutler, who preceded him in death Jan. 2, 2006. He was a wood cutter and farmer. He was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ.
Survivors include one sister, Mary Lee of Washington; five nieces and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Horace “Pete” Lee Sr. and James Matthew Lee and one sister, Elsie Magdalene Lee.
The family will receive friends at the home of Julie Woolard, 9543 N.C. Highway 32 North, Washington, and following the service at the graveside.
