Mrs. Ruby Lee Griffin Hardison, 86, of 119 Gatlin St., Williamston, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at the Williamston Rehab Center.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with the Rev. Lowell Petry officiating. Burial will follow in Tice Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardison was born in Martin County on Nov. 26, 1921. She was the daughter of the late David T. and Lucy Roberson Griffin. She married Archie Edwin Hardison in 1951, who preceded her in death in 1972. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Smithwick Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Frances Briley of Carrollton, Va.; one brother, David Verlin Griffin of Williamston; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service at Biggs Funeral Home.
