Mr. Zora Winford Gibbs, a resident of 11258 North Lake Road, Fairfield, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at his home.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at the Robert Carson Gibbs family cemetery on North Lake Road. Leon Williams and Steve Bryan will officiate.
Born in Hyde County, he was the son of the late Thad B. and Dortha Gibbs. He worked as a small-engine repairman during his working years. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy G. Holadia of Engelhard, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gibbs was preceded in death by two brothers, Thedford E. Gibbs and Wesley E. Gibbs, three sisters, Myra G. Dillon, Agatha G. Spencer, Theola G. Spencer and an infant brother and infant sister.
