Mr. Enoch Ledrew Baker, 86, of 444 Bakertown Road, Windsor, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the cemetery of Capeharts Baptist Church with the Rev. David Baker officiating.
Mr. Baker was born in Bertie County on July 6, 1921. He was the son of the late Enoch Lee and Minnie Hughes Baker. He was married to Sybil Hoggard Baker, who preceded him in death. He was a farmer. He was a member of Capeharts Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol B. Penn of Williamston; one son, Neil Baker of Windsor; one sister, Shirley B. Pierce of Ahoskie; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Gary Baker.
The family will receive friends this evening at the home.
