Mr. Jack Leonard Stanley, 58, of 1484 Cratt Road, Williamston, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at Martin General Hospital in Williamston.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Walker Funeral Home, Williamston, with the Rev. Gary Bateman officiating.
Mr. Stanley was born in Martin County on July 25, 1949. He was the son of the late Thomas and Lucille Jones Stanley. He was married to Kathryn “Mickie” Smithwick Stanley, who survives. He was a heavy equipment operator with G &S Land Co.
Survivors include one daughter, Nicole Stanley of Williamston; one sister, Carolyn S. Bailey of Windsor and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston, and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to either the American Heart or Lung Associations.
