Eric Steven Carman, 21, of 3523 Piney Grove Church Road, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008. He was born Dec. 29, 1986 in Wayne County to Donald and Katherine Burke Carman Jr., who survive him. He was a service technician with Corey’s Home Center in Williamston and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Donald Carman III of Robersonville; his grandparents, Steve and Josephine Burke of Lincolnton, Donald Carman Sr. of Daytona Beach, Fla. and Janetta Carman of Williamston and his great- grandmothers, Maebell Corey of Williamston and Jesse Mae Kale of Catawba.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Piney Grove Church with the Rev. David Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Tice Community Cemetery. Rodney Corey, Alvin Maxwell, Christian Carman, Mitchell Reason, Gene Mellette and Mark Pennell will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Piney Grove Baptist Church.
